Street Defense in BJJ

Rener Gracie is an American Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, a black belt head instructor at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. A member of the Gracie family, he is the grandson of Grandmaster Hélio Gracie, and the second-eldest son of Grandmaster Rorion Gracie, who was the main founder of Ultimate Fighting Championship – UFC.

By his estimation, over 80% of jiu-jitsu techniques are useless when strikes are added to the fight.
